Processing of data on our website

When you visit our website, our web server stores each access in a temporary log file. The following data is collected and stored until it is automatically deleted:

  • IP address of the computer making the request
  • Date and time of access
  • Name and URL of the retrieved file
  • Volume of data transferred
  • Notification of whether retrieval was successful
  • Identification data of the browser and operating system used.

The data is processed for the purpose of enabling use of the website (establishment of a connection), system security, technical administration, network infrastructure, and optimization of the Internet offering. It is not possible for us to attribute this data to any specific individual. The legal basis for this processing is the legitimate interest of the controller according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Collection, processing and use of personal data

When processing data, consideration is always given to protection of your legitimate interests pursuant to statutory provisions. Personal data is only collected when you voluntarily provide this data in the course of contacting us (such as your name, email or address). We will use the data you provide without requiring your separate authorization solely in order to respond to your request / query. After responding to your request / query, your data is blocked for further use, save where you have expressly given your consent to the further use of your data. The legal basis for this processing is your consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a or the preparation of contractual measures according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

Generation of pseudonymized user profiles for web analysis

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies," text files that are stored on your computer and enable analysis of your use of our website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA, where it is stored. However, if you enable IP anonymization for this website and are located in a member state of the European Union or in other signatory states to the EEA Agreement, your Google IP address will be shortened before transmission.

Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA, where it will be shortened. Newsletter dispatch

You are invited to subscribe to our newsletter, which is sent by MailChimp. This is a newsletter distribution platform of the U.S. provider Rocket Science Group, LLC. We need your e-mail address to send the newsletter. We use this data to advertise our products and services as long as you have not revoked your consent to receive the newsletter.
After subscribing to the newsletter you will receive an e-mail from MailChimp asking you to confirm your subscription. This is necessary to prevent people with foreign e-mail addresses from registering for the newsletter.

We link from our website and in our newsletters to content on our youtube.com channel. We also use the direct embedding of content published on youtube.com on individual pages of our website. When you visit the youtube.com website, e.g. by clicking on a link or starting the embedded videos, youtube.com will store cookies on your computer. These cookies are used by the operating company Google Ireland Limited to collect visited websites and detailed statistics on user behavior. This data can be linked to the data of users registered on youtube.com and google.com.

The data collected is transferred by Google Limited to servers of Google LLC in a third country (USA) and processed there. Due to an existing contract for order processing in connection with the agreement of the EU standard contractual clauses, we assume permissibility on the basis of consent.

Communicating with us via an MS Forms form.

For event registration or content feedback, we sometimes use a form on Microsoft Forms, a universal survey tool in MS Office 365, after personal invitation.

To request the possibility to participate in an event, we collect title, name, email address, company and the possibility to participate (yes / maybe / no). For content-related feedback, we collect comments without specific personal data.

The transfer of data in this way is voluntary. We use this data exclusively for the purpose stated in each case:

  • the organization of an event and the sending of information about it
    or
  • Processing advisory topics on the basis of your feedback.

The data you enter in the MS Forms form will be transferred to Microsoft and processed on Microsoft servers in the EU. Therefore, when transmitting your content to us, Microsoft processes the technical data of your network connection, operating system and browser software used.

We have concluded an order processing agreement with Microsoft Ireland. The processor is then Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland. For the portion of data transferred to third country servers at Microsoft for processing, we have entered into a processor agreement with Microsoft Corporation ,One Microsoft Way, Redmond, Washington, 98052-6399, USA based on the EU standard contractual clauses.

On our website you are invited to request information regarding the seminars and learning paths we offer. Once you have identified the desired seminar or learning path and click on the "Request" button, you will be forwarded to our contact form. You may use the contact form to send us a non-binding enquiry, stating your name and e-mail address. The mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk (*). We use the data provided by you without your separate consent exclusively to answer your questions. Our security standards
